Neha Pathak

Neha is an associate attorney at Fogg & Powers practicing in electrical, electronic, software, optics, and communications technologies.  Neha assists in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.  Neha received her law degree from Marquette University Law School and her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.  After completing her undergraduate coursework, Neha worked as an Assistant Electrical Engineer with Motorola, Inc.

During law school, Neha was the Comments Editor for Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review, and the Vice President of the Marquette Intellectual Property Law Society.  She also received the Frank C. DeGuire Award for Best Published Student Comment for her comment titled “How the Media got the Biggest Bite of (the) Apple: A look at the Media Misperception in the Apple-Samsung Case."

Additionally, Neha was an extern at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court under the supervision of Hon. Jane Carroll, and at the Wisconsin Department of Justice.  As a research assistant for Professor Kali Murray, Neha assisted her in preparing an amicus brief for the Supreme Court of the United States on the Myriad case concerning the issue of gene patentability.

Neha is a licensed attorney in Minnesota.

Outside of work, Neha enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, reading, and traveling.
