Scott Lundberg

Scott is a registered patent attorney with Fogg & Powers, LLC.  Scott has over sixteen years of experience in the practice of domestic and international Patent Law.  His areas of practice include drafting patent applications, prosecuting patent applications, drafting opinions, client counseling, drafting intellectual property agreements and providing litigation support relating to electronic and mechanical technologies.  Exemplary technology areas Scott has significant experience in include: power regulation circuits, voltage clamp circuits, radar systems, communication systems, control systems, navigation systems, semiconductor fabrication techniques and structures, memory devices, mechanical housings, retaining devices, guides, mounts, safety equipment, medical devices, drive train assemblies and composite structures.

Prior to rejoining Fogg & Powers, LLC., Scott practiced law at the Minneapolis intellectual property law firm of IPLM Group, P.A where he was a shareholder.  While at IPLM Group, P.A. Scott focused on patent drafting and prosecution, opinion work and client counseling related to various technologies.  Prior to that, Scott practiced law with Fogg and Powers, LLC.  Prior to joining the Intellectual Property Law firms, Scott served as a District Court Judge in the Court of Central Jurisdiction on the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Reservation.

Scott earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from St. Cloud State University, concentrating in electronics and optics. He received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, served as a research assistant for Professor Carl Moy and won the intra-school section of the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition.

Scott is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association.
