About Julie
Julie Bergemann is a docketing paralegal with Fogg & Powers. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Julie spent two and one-half years developing her paralegal and docketing skills while working at several local law firms and corporations in the Twin Cities. Before working as a paralegal, Julie worked in finance and payroll for a small business.
Initially, Julie worked on docketing for US Patent Applications for our clients. Subsequently, Julie’s responsibilities have grown to include docketing for foreign matters as well as applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Julie has also helped to train new docketing paralegals. Additionally, Julie assists with other projects such as our transition to a web-based docketing system. Julie has excellent time management and prioritization skills that have helped our attorneys and paralegals to ensure that our workflow runs smoothly.
In her time with Fogg & Powers Julie has been an integral part of the day-to-day document management of our firm. She ensures that the attorneys as well as other paralegals are kept informed of their specific matters and due dates.
Outside of work, Julie is an active member in her neighborhood by being a block club leader and has been planning National Night Out events for nearly twenty years. She has, worked with the city’s Crime Prevention Specialist in her precinct to keep her neighbors aware and informed of issues concerning their neighborhood. Julie enjoys art, reading and hiking, but her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and kids, as well as extended family and friends.
